Western Refractories was established in Edmonton, Alberta in 1984. It is a privately-owned Canadian company.

Western has successfully completed refractory projects throughout Canada. In addition, Western has supplied engineering, materials and supervision for projects throughout the world.

Western has affiliated itself with major refractory manufacturers to allow us to provide more product solutions than are normally available to single source suppliers. With our line of refractory suppliers we have maximum flexibility for installation methods, delivery schedules and product performance.

Western Refractories provides turnkey services from planning, through engineering and right to dryout. Communication and responsibility lines are simple and effective.
